“To any other business considering apprentices I’d say go for it
- You’ve got little to lose. They’re just as capable as more mature
individuals, and they give that added spark of youthful enthusiasm
and motivate the rest of the team. I can definitely say we’re
taking apprentices on in the future – we already have plans for a
scheme in 2012.”

We believe apprenticeships are the most cost-effective way to bring young talent into your business, combining funded qualifications and training with a junior IT role. And the UK Government agrees; apprenticeships are one of the few areas where funding continues to increase.
Our apprenticeship programme offers Advanced IT Apprenticeship
programmes across the UK. As a division of QA, we offer
employer-focused apprenticeships to businesses of all sizes who
wish to recruit young IT talent.
Why choose QA Apprenticeships?
QA Apprenticeships provides employers across the UK with new
low-cost, low-risk IT staff.
- Apprenticeships are a cost-effective alternative to graduate
recruitment
- Your apprentice could receive government funded training worth
up to £10,000
- QA screens and assesses all applicants before recommending them
for interview
Bespoke programmes
If you're looking to recruit a large number of apprentices, you
might be interested in a more bespoke programme. We can tailor
programmes to the roles you need to fill. You are free to choose
the units that make up your apprenticeship scheme, and you can
choose when and where their training is delivered. You can also
apply your organisation's recruitment process to our scheme, so
you're satisfied that the candidates you choose are right for your
business.
Standard programmes
Typical QA Apprenticeships last around 10 - 12 months, and will
suit roles in IT technical support, software development and web
design. We work with you to build up a picture of your business,
screening all candidates before sending you CVs that we feel meet
your priorities and expectations as an employer. We set a training
schedule with you and your apprentice, and give you constant
support throughout to ensure your apprenticeship programme runs as
smoothly as possible.
